Skeet and Trap

The Skeet facility offers skeet and trap and is open to members and the public each Sunday from 10 am to 1 pm (effective 09/01/23). The clubhouse is also open on Tuesday evenings during summer league.

Skeet Fields 1 and 2 have been designed so that members can utilize them during the week provided that another event has not been scheduled on it.  Instructions on how to operate the field are posted on the pole at the entrance to the field.  A power switch, pull cord and token box are also on this pole.  Each token inserted registers a preset number of targets that can be thrown from the houses.  Tokens can be purchased beforehand when the facility desk is open or through a vending machine located on the east side of the facility clubhouse.

The Club hosts leagues, NSSA registered tournaments, fun shoots and shooting clinics open to the public. Dates for these events are listed on this website as well as in the newsletter.

Shotgun ammunition can be purchased at the shotgun clubhouse.

Allowable lead shot sizes are 7.5 through 9.  Steel shot is not allowed on the shotgun ranges.

Eye and ear protection is required for everyone on the field, whether shooting or not.

Members wishing to use personal target throwers can set up on the personal throwers area near skeet field 5. Field 5 can be accessed off the pistol parking lot. Vehicles must remain in the designated parking area. Field equipment should be returned to its original location and all trash put in barrels.

A shotgun patterning board is located near the Sporting Clays clubhouse.
